Australia is one of the most important wine regions in the world, with its vineyards produce wide range of wines with economy of scale, from easy drinking to high quality, single or blended varietal wines.  Australia is known for its Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon from Barossa Valley and McLaren Vale; Pinot Noir from Yarra Valley and Mornington Peninsula; followed by Riesling from Eden and Clare Valley; Chardonnay from Adelaide Hills; as well as Semillon from Hunter Valley.
