Aromatic with Distinctive Lychee Flavour

Gewürztraminer is a white grape variety that needs a cool to moderate climate to produce good quality grapes.  It is most commonly produced as a single-varietal wine with pronounced aromas and full body, and is typically unoaked to preserve its floral aromas.  Alsace AOC in France is the most famous region for this grape, but other wine regions with cool to moderate climate like Germany, are also known for very good and outstanding Gewürztraminer.

Characteristics:  Typically low to medium acidity, floral aromas (rose), stone-fruit flavours (peach, apricot) and tropical-fruit flavours (lychee)
