Wente Riva Ranch "Single Vineyard" Chardonnay 2019

$238.00

Arroyo Seco, Monterey, USA

“Rich, Complex, Balance”

This Chardonnay is sourced exclusively from Wente's Riva Ranch Vineyard in Arroyo Seco.  The place, where they have been growing grapes since the 1960’s, is widely regarded as one of the best places in California to grow Chardonnay.  Rich golden colour.  Intense aromas of green apple, pear, elderflower with butter, vanilla and subtle oak notes from barrel aging.  Adding Gewürztraminer also gave it some tropical fruits aromas.  Very well-rounded and nice balance mouth feel and a long finish.
